Nice to virtually meet you! Here's what you need to know about me.

Rich Brunner, ESource Coach

As a Career Ownership Coach with The Entrepreneur’s Source, I focus on helping people contemplate their career possibilities and dreams and support them in exploring the world of business ownership and franchise opportunities.

My foundation for understanding and helping my clients comes from my 30+ years experience with some of the world’s largest and most respected corporations (e.g., Accenture, PWC, Oracle), where I provided management consulting, financial management and enterprise technology across many industries.  I’ve worked with truly incredible people solving one-of-a-kind problems, implementing massive technology solutions, and seizing opportunities in the marketplace that seemed just out of reach.

My working style has always been characterized by positivity and a dedication to the people I work with and for.   As a leader I’ve always had a strong interest in helping my team members realize and work towards their full potential.  This same inclination is what drew me towards career ownership coaching.

As your coach, I’m committed to creating a safe space for you to learn about different possibilities with no pressure or judgement (or cost!).  I’m there to guide you through the discovery process and allow you to make the choices that are best for you. Many people are unaware of all the real opportunities that exist and just need a sounding board to explore alternatives.  This process is a joy for me and I hope will be for you too. I strive to make it not only fulfilling, but also fun!

Work history.

My 30+ year career has brought me a wide variety of experiences and perspectives.

  • After gaining my MBA, I developed my management expertise providing consulting services around enterprise technology for Accenture and for Price Waterhouse (now PWC).
  • I became fascinated with more leading-edge technology and went to work for Oracle Corporation, where as a Director I built and led a consulting practice that delivered Financial, HR, Supply Chain and Manufacturing solutions to customers across the Western U.S.
  • I was a Vice President leading a national software development and infrastructure organization for MAXIMUS, providing healthcare-oriented solutions to large-scale government health and human services organizations.
  • As a side-hustle I was CTO for a financial startup that used Artificial Intelligence to provide online valuations of small privately held business.
  • I was CIO and VP of Products for a mid-sized (400+ people) software company that sells solutions to the tax and labor industries.

Coaching highlights.

I love the privilege of helping my clients create a new life-changing career strategy.

  • I help them develop Income, Lifestyle and Wealth Building goals.
  • I maintain a safe learning space so they can objectively explore options that are right for them.
  • We explore what brings them joy in their work and how they approach the work they do.
  • We talk about the pros and cons of both employment and business ownership self-sufficiency.
  • We explore differences between business startups and franchise businesses.

“I started with just me and one truck, working out of my garage. I now have four employees, and I am in a commercial space. The earnings potential is pretty well limitless at this point. I am busy. I do have to spend time away from my family just as I did before. But now, if I want to stay home and cook my kids breakfast, I can. On nice sunny days, if I want to cut out early to take the kids swimming, I do. I don’t just have weekends to choose from anymore.”

BRANDEN BOWDEN, New Business Owner
